Eliminating costly delays in the invoice authorisation process at Imperial Tobacco
Imperial Tobacco have eliminated costs and delays in the supplier invoice authorization process, by using AutoFORM PDM Invoice Authorisation solution. AutoFORM automates the online workflow delivery of invoices to each person in the authorization process: GL coder, 1st & 2nd level authorizer. This is coupled with online GL coding with intelligent defaults and drop-down menus to make the process as quick and easy as possible. The AutoFORM solution is attributed with improving control over expenditure whilst increasing the visibility and audit traceability of invoice authorisation to Sarbanes Oxley and European 8th Directive standards.

Automatically separates scanned multidrop manifests into?individual?proof of delivery slips for customer self service collection via Couriers web
Many companies use multi-drop delivery notes as an efficient means of organising deliveries. However, if the same sheets are used as a proof of deliveries, copying and faxing the whole sheet risks betraying commercially sensitive customer details to other parties. EFS Technology has developed a unique solution that avoids the cost of expensive, easily lost, handheld PDAs. Instead, AutoFORM ?slices? a scanned image of the manifest into individually signed PODs. In turn these are automatically uploaded and linked to the Couriers web-based tracking service, so that the customer can not only see that the parcel has been delivered, but who has signed for it ? with a copy of the actual signature for validation purposes.

EFS Technology invited to Geac’s System21 InForum Conference AutoFORM, is the only document management suite
recommended by Geac System21. At this yearly event EFS UK will be demonstrating the benefits of adding document
and process management facilities to System21, particularly for the management of purchase invoices, proof of
deliveries and customer, supplier records. Both incoming and outgoing documents are automatically linked to
System21 screens allowing users to complete their System21 tasks in less time and at less cost, while generally

New exciting order from BOC for digital signatures AutoFORM LaserNet suite of output & document management
solutions is used extensively by BOC Edwards, with SAP R/3. EFS Technology UK announces a new order
from BOC Edwards to place Digital Signatures onto both e-mailed and archived documents. This facility
will be implemented and rolled out across Europe and the US. The main motivating factor for purchasing
this technology was to allow BOC to comply with the new European legislation for the storage and
transmission of electronic documents.
